Intro to The Permanent Temp

My name is Charley and I am the Permanent Temp. I started my job through this temp agency because it was the only job I could find in this horrible economy. My husband was laid off so I had to have a job. I took the first assignment they gave me. My understanding of a temp was eventually they would get hired in full time. I was wrong. I was brought in to do data entry for $9.55/hr and that was my job. Over these 16 months as a temp they have taught me skills I need but still keep me a temp with one raise in these 16 months.
